Assign an IP address to a DHCP port

Use the
DHCP Address Assignment
 view to assign a specific IP address to each DHCP port. The IP address you assign is reserved for a selected port and is not available for normal DHCP dynamic assignment. The IP address must be an address from the pool specified in the
DHCP Pool
 field.
Prerequisites
  • The device is online.
To assign an IP address to a DHCP port
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    DHCP Address Assignment
    .
  2. In the
    DHCP Address Assignment
     view, configure these parameters as needed:
    • Pool
    • IP Address
  3. Select
    Set
    to send the changes to the switch.
    TIP:
    You may need to enter a password in the
    Enter Password
     dialog box.
