Configure a switch using express setup

Use
Express Setup
 to configure IP addresses for the switch.
Prerequisites
  • The device is online.
To configure a switch using express setup
  1. In
    Express Setup
    , under
    Internet Protocol (IP) Settings
    , select
    Manually configure IP settings
    .
    TIP:
    If you select
    Obtain IP settings automatically using DHCP
    , the switch automatically obtains an IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and IP address of the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server from the DHCP server.
  2. Configure the rest parameters as needed:
    • Physical Device IP Address
    • Host Name
    • Subnet Mask
    • Gateway Address
    • Network Time Protocol Server
    • User
    • Password
    • Confirm
    • Management Interface VLAN
  3. Select
    OK
