Deploy DataView Application
Perform the following steps to deploy the DataView application.
WARNING:
Using HTTP will expose the user/password and sensitive information as clear text on the network. It is strongly recommended using HTTPS to encrypt the network traffic. This reduces risk because the sensitive information are no longer exposed.
NOTE:
(Password Encryption) By default, passwords that are stored in the configuration properties files are set for encryption. It is recommended that this encryption mode is on (password.encryption.required=true) at all times. If user change the password for a component, like PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch, provide the new password as clear text in the property files. Restart the services (DataImporter and DataView) and the new passwords will be encrypted.
IMPORTANT:
Use a complex password as per the company policy.
