Configure FTEGInfluxDB

This section describes the InfoPlatform FTEGInfluxDB connector. It also describes configuration and user aspects of this connector. InfoPlatform is an SDK (available as packages from NuGet) that allows for the development of applications that can include functions such as:

Ingress data from sources on the plant floor or the enterprise (FTEdge Gateway).
Model the data in hierarchical form.
Egress the data via a RestAPI interface to web or winform based clients.

The connector described in this document is an extension to the existing solution 'FactoryTalk Analytics InfoPlatform Service'. The connector gives the service the possibility to connect to FTEGInfluxDB. The main goal of the connector is to provide live, operation and time-series data from FTEGInfluxDB servers.
