Controller Organizer

The
Controller Organizer
window is a graphical representation of the contents of your project that you can resize, undock, dock, and move. It contains a hierarchy of the folders, files, and links that contain information about the programs and data in the current project. For detailed information about the structure of the

In front of each folder that has content, there is an icon that indicates whether the folder or item is expanded or collapsed. Select the icon to expand the item.
TIP:
When you close the open project or the
Logix Designer
application, the last known expansion states for all high-level folders within the
Controller Organizer
are saved and stored. The
Controller Organizer’
s high-level folders are:
  • Controller <name>
  • Tasks
  • Motion Groups
  • Alarm Manager
  • Assets (Trends, Add-On Instructions, Data types)
I/O Configuration
Right-clicking an item opens a context-sensitive menu for that item. Commands on the menu are shortcuts to the item's
Properties
dialog box and menu bar commands. Double-clicking a file in the
Controller Organizer
opens the
Properties
dialog box.
TIP:
The
I/O Configuration
folder displays a Module Fault icon if a module below it is faulted.
The
Quick View
pane under the
Controller Organizer
tree provides summary information about the selected item in the
Controller Organizer
.
