Go to the machine where FTA DataView is installed and add FT Activation Service hostname (FQDN) and IP address in the

hosts

file located at

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

directory.

Go to FTA Security server to generate the certificates.

Ensure to create the certificates using the same CA folder.

Execute the following command to generate the certificates with FT Activation Service hostname (FQDN):

Refer to Table 3‑3 for the list of the supported special characters that can be used to create certificates.

Copy the

<FTA_Activation_Service_hostname (FQDN)>.p12

file generated in FTA Security machine to the FT Activation Service machine and configure FT Activation Websocket Service. Refer to “FTA Activation Service”.
