Distributed Mode Installation
- If the FTA Activation Service, FTA Security provider and DataView are to be installed on different machines, then install these services in the following order:
- FTA Activation Service: Run the FactoryTalk Analytics DataView Installer and select [FT Activation Service] and [FT Activation Manager] in the Components Selection section. Refer to FT Activation Service.
- FTA Security Provider: Run the FactoryTalk Analytics DataView Installer and select [FTA Security] in the Components Selection section. Refer to FTA Security.
- FTA DataView: Run the FactoryTalk Analytics DataView Installer and select [DataView] in the Components Selection section. Refer to DataView.
- Start the following services:
- FactoryTalk Activation Websocket Service
- FactoryTalk Activation Service
- FactoryTalk Activation Helper.
