Use the
Save/Restore
view to save the switch configuration to a file for archiving, or to restore a switch configuration stored locally on a PC. Depending on the switch model, the configuration may include the config.text file and the vlan.dat file.Use the
Save/Restore
view to:- Upload the configuration from the switch to the project.
- Download the switch configuration from the project to the switch.
- Import the switch configuration from files on your computer to the project.
- Export the switch configuration from the project to computer files on your computer.
TIP:
Export and import are only when the device is online. You may need to enter a valid switch password to import and export switch configuration.
