Configure the DLR network

Use the
Device Level Ring
 view to configure the DLR network. DLR is available on select switch models and ports.
Prerequisites
  • The switch is online and communicating.
  • The switch is operating on a ring network.
To configure the DLR network
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Device Level Ring
    .
  2. In the
    Device Level Ring
     view, in the
    Enable
     column for the Ring, select the checkbox to enable DLR on the switch ports.
  3. Select the ring ports for
    Port 1
     and
    Port 2
    .
    TIP:
    Port 1
     and
    Port 2
     cannot be set to the same port. Once a port is selected, that port is not available to the other port.
  4. Select
    Set
     to send the settings to the switch.
