Access and Entitlements
Authorization Numbers
Adding an Authorization Number will enable additional access to purchased Rockwell Automation content, when applicable, such as advanced Knowledgebase articles, myEquipment, and establish an association to Repair Orders. Authorization Numbers can be found in current Welcome Kits.
Role-based Access
Some applications require role-based access to services such as viewing Install Base Evaluation reports in myEquipment, and access to ticket history and chats in Knowledgebase.
Requesting Access to Rockwell Automation offerings
Some Authorization Numbers require approval before use, these requests will either go to your company's administrator for approval or if an administrator has not yet been established at your company, Rockwell will address your request until one has been established. You’ll receive an email once your request has been acknowledged.
If you would like to become an administrator for your company's location, you can request for this role by going to access tab->Access Requests and request for application “myRockwell” and role “Delegated Admin”. Once approved, you'll receive an email in your inbox.
If your Account has an association to a Company, the Company tab will display a suggested list of Companies and their associated addresses for you to request access to..
Once approved by an administrator or Rockwell, you will have advanced access to purchased Rockwell Automation services.
